The Oman Design & Build Week: A Gateway to the Middle East Building Materials Market
The Oman Design & Build Week (ODBW) stands out as Oman's largest and most renowned building materials exhibition. Organized by Oman Expo, with strong support from the local government, the event received certification from the UFI Association (Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) in 2009, representing the latest trends in the industry.
The previous edition of ODBW covered a total area of 18,000 square meters, with 373 exhibitors from China, the UAE, India, Indonesia, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and more, attracting 15,060 visitors. The exhibition covers a comprehensive range of products, including building materials such as construction equipment, hardware tools, plastic and rubber products, flooring materials, doors, windows, and various construction machinery and equipment. With its wide range of exhibits and strong industry relevance, ODBW offers a valuable platform for both exhibitors and visitors.
Benefiting from complementary trade advantages between China and Oman, the exhibition facilitates trade exchanges in various sectors. China primarily imports mineral fuels and related raw materials from Oman while exporting electrical and mechanical products, as well as building materials. This mutually beneficial trade relationship contributes to the development of both countries.
As Oman's most important and largest building materials exhibition, ODBW has always been well-received by exhibitors worldwide, serving as an excellent platform to explore the Omani building materials market. For Chinese enterprises, participating in ODBW presents an opportunity to further promote their products and services.
